I be on the bandwagon express again. With a newly done "Lao Fin". I realized how inaccurate his name was for a Chinese dude, so I changed it. And his appearance. And shoved him in SDL.
Someday I'll come up with a new OC. I'm just really attatched to him. But he's come a long way since september [link]

Background

Lau Jin Leng

Age: 18
Gender: Male (funnily enough)
Nationality: Chinese (Singapore)
Likes: Brothels and violence (depends on his personality)
Dislikes: Ugly and weak people

Due to recurrent traumatic events in his past, he developed a distinct double personality.
One calls himself Lau (top image, full body) and is bright and sunny, if not retardedly tactless. Hates conflict though, and will try to avoid it if possible. Can be a ditz and is a serious playboy.

The other personality goes by Jin (bottom, left head) and is pretty much the opposite of Lau. Dark and violent, he'll actively seek out fights and sadistically tease opponents till he get's bored and disposes of them.

Lau will try to connect with people, but sometimes he just doesn't get them. Jin doesn't even bother and just thinks of everything as targets.

Because of his personality disorder, and peoples lack of understanding of his problem, he was banished from his village and left to fend for his own. He ended up with a band of thieves and travelled across Asia with them, training in most fighting forms.

Fighting Style

Lau is first and foremost a martial artist. He is adept in most fighting styles, and only uses his weapon if he has to. He's incredibly agile and fast, but can be a huge klutz and often makes stupid mistakes.
EDIT: I forgot to mention, this is due to him being blind in one eye. His spatial awareness is crap.
Due to his small frame, he's not very physically strong. He uses momentum to take out opponents most of the time.
The weapon is a specially adapted katana that retracts into the handle. This is so it can be stored easily and can be used as a dagger or a long sword.

I dunno how I'll do with duels. If someone asks me, I'll go against them, but I'm in the middle of alot of stuff right now, so I might not be too reliable.
